Meghan Markle plots ‘ultimate revenge’ on royal family as Balmoral trip looms

Meghan Markle is reportedly preparing to execute what is being described as the ‘ultimate revenge’ against the royal family, following a history of feeling ‘rejected’ by the institution.

For those unfamiliar with their journey, Meghan and Prince Harry stepped down from their roles as senior royals in 2020, relocating to the United States in search of privacy and a safe environment. Following their departure, the couple lost their royal security and other privileges associated with their former status.

An insider revealed to OK! magazine that the Sussexes had initially requested to continue representing the royal family on official tours, but their proposal was declined. “They were deeply hurt by the rejection, and now Meghan sees this as the perfect revenge,” the insider explained.

Currently, Meghan and Harry are said to be focused on overshadowing key royal figures through their international engagements. In May, the couple visited Nigeria, which was deemed a successful public relations move for them. Their next stop is Colombia, where they are set to arrive this Thursday.

Meghan, who gained fame as an actress on the show Suits, views the upcoming Colombia tour as an opportunity to demonstrate her star power and show the world how much the royal family is missing out. “She knows how to captivate an audience, and public engagements were one aspect of royal life that she truly enjoyed,” the source continued. “She was enraged when that was taken from her, as she believes she’s a significant asset.”

According to reports, Meghan feels that she and Harry thrive as a couple during meetings with dignitaries and locals, which not only bolsters their brand but also supports their ambition to present themselves as an ‘alternative royal family.’
