Interior Ministry opens six new passport offices in Islamabad

Six new passport offices have been inaugurated at the newly established modern regional passport office in Islamabad, according to a statement from the Interior Ministry.

Director General of Passports, Mustafa Jamal Qazi, announced that Islamabad residents seeking to obtain a passport can now visit the new facility located at the I&T Center in Sector G10-4.

Qazi highlighted that the new building is equipped with advanced facilities designed to enhance the experience for citizens. “We have ensured the availability of separate special counters for women and senior citizens,” he stated.

He further mentioned that the new passport office eliminates the need for citizens to wait in long queues, as passports will now be processed through a digital system. Qazi emphasized that by deploying additional staff, any issues faced by citizens could be promptly addressed.
