A private news outlet reports that among the five individuals charged in connection with actor Matthew Perry’s fatal drug overdose last year is a woman known as Jasveen Sangha, or more infamously, “the Ketamine Queen.” Investigators allege that Ms. Sangha supplied the lethal dose of ketamine that ultimately led to Perry’s death.
Ms. Sangha, a 41-year-old who holds both British and American citizenship, has been under federal scrutiny for her alleged involvement in distributing dangerous narcotics. Authorities describe her as the “Ketamine Queen of Los Angeles,” claiming she operated a drug distribution network from her North Hollywood residence. The federal indictment characterizes her home as a “drug-selling emporium,” where a variety of illicit substances, including methamphetamine, cocaine, and prescription drugs like Xanax, were reportedly stored, packaged, and sold.
Ms. Sangha’s activities reportedly stretch back to at least June 2019. Her operation first attracted significant attention after a March raid connected to an unrelated methamphetamine case. During this raid, federal agents confiscated 79 bottles of liquid ketamine and close to 2,000 methamphetamine pills, further illustrating the extent of her alleged drug trafficking enterprise.
Matthew Perry, widely recognized for his role in the television series ‘Friends,’ passed away on October 28 of last year. Having struggled with addiction for much of his life, Perry was found dead in his home, with his death officially linked to a ketamine overdose. Investigators claim that Perry obtained the fatal dose through a broker named Eric Fleming, who sourced the ketamine from Ms. Sangha.
Court documents indicate that Ms. Sangha provided Mr. Fleming with 50 vials of ketamine in two separate transactions in the weeks preceding Perry’s death. The indictment details that Perry first used the drug on October 13, and Fleming delivered two substantial batches to Perry’s residence on October 14 and October 24. Ms. Sangha allegedly sweetened the deal by including “ketamine lollipops” as a bonus due to the size of Perry’s order.
