Prince George’s royal classmate has a famous mother; here’s who it is

Prince George has grown into a confident young boy who frequently accompanies his parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton, on official royal duties.

Now 11 years old, Prince George is enjoying his summer break from Lambrook School in Berkshire, where he studies alongside his younger siblings, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. The royal children are relatively new to Lambrook, having previously attended Thomas’ School in Battersea, an independent school with annual fees of £17,600.

The Wales family made the move from London to Windsor to be closer to King Charles, which led to the change in schools for the children. Despite Prince George’s status as the future King, he is treated just like any other student at Lambrook, according to reports from a private news outlet.

At Thomas’ School, where classes typically had around 20 students, Prince George wasn’t the only royal in his class. He was joined by Maud Windsor, a distant relative and the eldest daughter of Lord Frederick Windsor, also known as Lord Freddie. Lord Freddie is the son of Prince Michael of Kent, the Queen’s cousin, and Maud’s mother, Sophie Winkelman, is a successful actress.

Sophie Winkelman, now Lady Frederick Windsor, is well-known for her role as Big Suze in the British comedy series Peep Show. In addition to this, she has appeared in The Palace and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Sophie is also the sister of TV presenter Claudia Winkleman.
