CHICHAWATNI/PASRUR: A man named Qayyum Nazir fatally axed his wife, Sughran Bibi, following a domestic dispute in Chichawatn on Tuesday after which he attempted suicide by electrocution and is currently hospitalized in critical condition.
The couple, who had been married for a year and a half, frequently quarreled over domestic issues. The woman’s body has been sent for a postmortem, and the police have initiated an investigation into the incident.
In Pasrur, the situation took another grim turn when the alleged murderer of a family of four was killed by his own accomplices.
On August 14, the accused, who had previously murdered a couple and their two daughters over a property dispute, was attacked by his own associates during a confrontation at a plaintiff’s residence in Sabz Peer police station’s jurisdiction.
Shehzad, one of the suspects, was killed in the crossfire from his accomplices. The body was taken to the hospital, and the police have started investigating the case.
