‘Gandapur roamed Lahore, reached PTI rally despite hurdles’

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Advisor Barrister Saif on Sunday claimed that KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur successfully roamed across Punjab and Lahore despite barricades, in a challenge issued by the government.

He criticized Federal Ministers Khawaja Asif and Atta Tarar, who had previously threatened to stop Gandapur from crossing Attock, saying they had now fallen silent. Barrister Saif accused the government of attempting to block the public gathering before Gandapur’s arrival by placing obstacles in his path.

Despite the hurdles, Gandapur reached the venue, according to Saif. He further emphasized that no one could stop the release of Imran Khan, as demonstrated by nationwide protests in support of the PTI leader.

KP CM Gandapur arrived late to the PTI’s Lahore gathering on Saturday, raising slogans in support of Imran Khan as he exited his vehicle. Addressing the crowd, he declared, “I have overcome all obstacles to be with you.”

The PTI organized the public rally in Lahore, which they claimed to be a successful demonstration of support for Imran Khan. However, Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar dismissed the gathering as a flop, while Senior Punjab Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb sarcastically remarked on the “terrible sight of revolution and popularity” in Lahore.
