World leaders send congratulations on PRC’s 75th founding anniversary

BEIJING: Leaders of Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Syria have recently sent messages or letters of congratulations to Chinese President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, on the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China (PRC).

Top leaders of Russia, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), Vietnam, Laos and Cuba have recently sent messages or letters of congratulation to Chinese President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, on the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China (PRC).

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has congratulated Chinese President Xi Jinping, Premier Li Qiang, and the people of China on the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.

In a post on his X handle, he expressed pride in China’s remarkable progress and achievements under President Xi’s visionary leadership.

The Prime Minister emphasized that Pakistan and China are “iron brothers,” with their all-weather strategic cooperative partnership growing stronger each day.

He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to ensuring the success of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), a flagship project of the Belt and Road Initiative.

Sharif pledged to continue working closely with China to further enhance bilateral ties across all sectors and promote regional peace, stability, and prosperity.

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said that China has made great contributions to promoting global sustainable development and safeguarding security and stability, adding that Kazakhstan is willing to maintain the good-neighborly friendship with China and promote the permanent comprehensive strategic partnership for the benefit of the two peoples.

Tajik President Emomali Rahmon said that expanding the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership in the new era between Tajikistan and China is one of the most important directions of Tajikistan’s foreign policy. The Tajik side is willing to push the good-neighborly and friendly relations between Tajikistan and China to a higher level.

Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the People’s Council of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, said that Turkmenistan and China share sincerity and mutual trust, and their friendship has stood the test of time. They expressed firm belief that the good-neighborly friendship between Turkmenistan and China will continue to develop and bring common benefits to the two peoples.

Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev said that China is a friendly neighbor of Uzbekistan and a reliable cooperative partner that has withstood the test of time. Uzbekistan and China have elevated their ties to an all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership for a new era, injecting new impetus into Uzbekistan’s development and mutually beneficial regional cooperation.

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said that the friendship between Belarus and China is as solid as a rock, and their all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership will continue to deepen.

Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi expressed willingness to promote cooperation in various fields with China and wished the friendly Chinese people continuous progress.

Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud said that Saudi Arabia highly appreciates its good relations with China and is ready to deepen cooperation in various fields.

Noting that China’s development benefits the world, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad said that China upholds justice and is relied upon by countries that have suffered from hegemonism and defend their independence and sovereignty.

Russian President Vladimir Putin extended his warmest congratulations to the Chinese side, saying that under the leadership of Xi, China has made remarkable achievements in economic, social, scientific and technological development and played an important role in resolving international and regional hotspot issues.

He said that Russia cherishes the good-neighborly friendship between the two countries and is willing to further consolidate their comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination for a new era.

Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the DPRK, expressed his conviction that the Chinese people, uniting closely around the CPC with Xi at its core, will surely achieve the Second Centenary Goal.

He said that it is the consistent position of the DPRK party and government to continuously consolidate and develop the traditional friendship between the two countries, and it is believed that the DPRK-China friendly and cooperative relations will be further consolidated and developed in the new era.

To Lam, general secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and Vietnamese president, expressed his firm belief that under the leadership of the Central Committee of the CPC with Xi at the core, the Chinese people will surely achieve the goals and development strategies put forward by the 20th CPC National Congress and build China into a great modern socialist country that is prosperous, strong, democratic, culturally advanced, harmonious, and beautiful at an early date.

Vietnam regards consolidating and developing good-neighborly, friendly and comprehensive cooperative relations with China as a top priority and strategic choice and is willing to work with China to promote the building of a Vietnam-China community with a shared future, he said.

General Secretary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party Central Committee and Lao President Thongloun Sisoulith said that Laos attaches great importance to developing friendly cooperation with China and is willing to work with China to promote the building of a Laos-China community with a shared future to continuously yield fruitful results.

General Raul Castro, leader of the Cuban Revolution, and Miguel Diaz-Canel, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and Cuban president, said that the great achievements made by the PRC since its founding 75 years ago fully prove that socialism can effectively cope with the current complex global challenges, adding that Cuba will remain firmly committed to deepening the brotherly and special friendly relations between the two countries.
