Jennifer Lopez eyes lavish estate next to ex Diddy’s home after Ben Affleck split

Jennifer Lopez is reportedly in the market for a new home after her recent split from Ben Affleck, and her search has led her to a striking property in Los Angeles — right next to one of her former flames, Sean “Diddy” Combs. According to The Post, Lopez is eyeing the prestigious Azria Estate in Holmby Hills, a mansion that borders Combs’ own property.

Lopez and Combs, who dated from 1999 to 2001, would become neighbors if the Unstoppable star closes the deal on this sprawling estate. The mansion, originally listed for $125.6 million (US$85 million), is currently on the market for $81 million (US$55 million), but Lopez is negotiating a potential purchase for a significantly lower price — reportedly between $44.3 million and $57.7 million (US$30 million to $39 million).

However, securing this mansion isn’t a straightforward affair. The estate, formerly owned by the late BCBG fashion mogul Max Azria, is at the center of a legal dispute involving billionaire investor Ron Burkle, who had placed a winning $30 million bid on the property earlier this year. Burkle is now in a lawsuit with Azria’s widow, Lubov Azria, over an alleged breach of contract.

Despite the ongoing legal battle, Lopez has shown a keen interest in the property, taking several tours over the past few weeks and engaging in negotiations with both Burkle and Lubov Azria in the hope of cutting a deal.

The estate itself is a world-class compound set on three acres, featuring 14 bedrooms, a guest house, an infinity pool, a sauna, a catering kitchen, and a long, gated driveway. There’s also a separate building with a large home theatre, game room, and home office — all of which have caught Lopez’s attention.

Meanwhile, Lopez and Affleck are still attempting to sell their former marital mansion, listed for $100 million (US$68 million), as they continue the process of separating their lives post-divorce.

Should Lopez succeed in acquiring the Azria Estate, she would join a high-profile neighborhood, with other nearby residents including Tom Ford, Sean Parker, and Jimmy Iovine.
