Naqvi welcomed in Istanbul for key visit on Pak-Turkiye cooperation

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Interior and Anti-Narcotics, Mohsin Naqvi, arrived in Turkiye on Tuesday for an official visit aimed at bolstering ties between Pakistan and Turkiye.

Upon his arrival at Istanbul Airport, Naqvi received a warm welcome from Pakistan’s Ambassador to Turkiye, Dr. Yusuf Jind, and senior Turkish officials, including Mehmet Ali, Director General of Turkiye’s Ministry of Interior.

Naqvi is set to participate in an international conference in Istanbul, a significant event to which he was invited by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The conference will address pressing issues relevant to both nations and the global community.

During his visit, Naqvi will represent Pakistan in meetings with Turkish cabinet ministers and leaders, focusing on mutual cooperation in areas such as border management, security, and combating human trafficking, further strengthening the partnership between the two countries.
