Nawaz and Maryam set for UK visit in early November

ISLAMABAD: PML-N President Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz are scheduled to depart for the UK in the first week of November.

According to reports, both leaders will board a flight from Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport with a stopover in Dubai before heading to London.

After spending two days in London, Nawaz Sharif is expected to travel to the USA on Tuesday for a brief four-day visit before returning.

Earlier, Senator Irfan Siddiqui, a close confidant of Nawaz Sharif, mentioned that Nawaz routinely undergoes medical checkups during his visits to London, but he claimed no specific knowledge of any detailed travel plans, suggesting it would be a routine visit.
