ISLAMABAD: Pakistan is feeling the onset of colder weather as November begins, with temperatures dropping noticeably across the country. Days remain sunny, but evenings are becoming increasingly chilly, indicating a seasonal shift.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Islamabad is experiencing cooler nights, despite mild sunshine during the day. In the northern regions of Murree and Galliyat, the arrival of cold winds has prompted residents to layer up against the drop in temperature.
The PMD reports light snowfall in Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, which has further reduced temperatures in these areas. Most districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are expected to see dry weather with cool nights.
In Punjab, the PMD warns of smog in multiple areas, including Sialkot, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Kasur, Okara, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Bahawalpur, Multan, and Rahim Yar Khan. Meanwhile, Sindh and Balochistan are expected to remain warm and dry in contrast to the cooler conditions seen elsewhere.
