Fans Express Concern Over Angelina Jolie’s Health as She Chooses More Covered-Up Looks for Public Appearances

Angelina Jolie has been turning heads as she returns to the spotlight to promote her latest film, Maria, where she stars as the iconic opera singer Maria Callas. Directed by Pablo Larraín, the biopic is set to release in theaters on Nov. 27 and on Netflix on Dec. 11, and Jolie’s performance has sparked early buzz for potential award nominations. However, much of the public conversation has centered not on her acting but on her appearance.

This past summer, Jolie, 49, received comments from fans regarding her visibly slim frame and prominent veins on her arms during her Cannes Film Festival red-carpet appearance. Since then, she has opted for outfits that cover more of her skin, including tailored suits and jackets. Most recently, she attended a Beverly Hills screening in a white suit with peep-toe heels, straight hair, and minimal makeup.

While fans praised her look, with one calling her “beautiful and talented,” others continued to voice concerns. “She’s covering her veiny arms and legs,” remarked one observer, while another added, “She really looks ill.” Some comments attributed her appearance to personal struggles, including her long-standing divorce proceedings with Brad Pitt.

Jolie’s divorce from Pitt, which began in 2016, remains unresolved, reportedly due to disputes over shared assets, including a French winery. The former couple shares six children, three of whom were adopted, with some reportedly estranged from Pitt amid claims of past family disputes. Meanwhile, Jolie has made several appearances with U.K. rapper Akala, though she has not confirmed any romantic relationship.

Amid the public scrutiny, Jolie has not addressed her health directly but remains focused on her work and family.
