Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour concert film, which grossed over $250 million and became the highest-grossing concert film of all time, was notably absent from the “Best Music Film” category in the 2025 Grammy nominations. The film, which brought audiences to theaters worldwide and bypassed traditional studios by partnering directly with AMC, captured the excitement of her global tour but didn’t make the Grammy cut.
Despite the snub, Swift received six other Grammy nominations. Her album The Tortured Poets Department is up for “Album of the Year” and “Best Pop Vocal Album,” while her Fortnight single with Post Malone is nominated for “Record of the Year,” “Song of the Year,” and “Best Music Video.” Additionally, her duet with Gracie Abrams, Us., is in the running for “Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.”
The Grammy Awards are set for February 2, 2025, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, airing on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.
