Donna Kelce, mother of NFL star Travis Kelce, recently addressed whether her son’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, would join their family for Thanksgiving. Speaking on the Today show Thursday, Donna, 72, shared her holiday plans, revealing that she’ll be attending a football game the day after Thanksgiving to watch Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs play the Las Vegas Raiders. “You know, football is always the holidays. It’s football’s family,” she said, noting that they haven’t planned a formal Thanksgiving dinner.
Donna, who has grown close to Swift since the singer went public with her relationship with Travis in September 2023, expressed doubt that the pop star would join them due to her busy tour schedule. “She’s kinda busy right now,” Donna explained, referring to Swift’s Eras Tour, which will kick off its Canadian leg on Thursday.
Though Swift may not be present for Thanksgiving, fans speculate she might attend Travis’s game, as she has a 13-day break between her Toronto and Vancouver shows. Recently, Swift was spotted at Travis’s game against the Denver Broncos, sporting a chic Versace outfit and celebrating his record-breaking touchdown. Following the game, she and Travis posed with tennis star Frances Tiafoe and his girlfriend, Ayan Broomfield, in a private suite.
