Prince William finally takes brother Prince Harry’s advice in major move

Prince William appears to have taken major inspiration for big statement he made from his estranged brother Prince Harry.

The Prince of Wales, who is already planning new changes in the Firm during his father King Charles’ reign, touched up on what the royal institution will look like in his era.

According to a royal expert, William’s bold statement, describing his monarchy as “a smaller ‘r’ in the royal” had been oddly a reflection of what was said by Prince Harry, who stepped down from his senior royal position in 2020.

“One person who’s probably sitting there thinking ‘this is what I’ve been saying all along’ is the Duke of Sussex,” Vanity Fair royal editor Katie Nicholl told The Sun.

“Let’s be more open, let’s show more empathy, let’s do things a little bit differently.”

Prince Harry has been vocal about modernising his role and has been very open about his work and his personal life.

Nicholl explained that the reason why Prince Harry had to leave was because he “didn’t feel he could bend the institution the way he wanted to do things” but now his vision is becoming popular among the royals.

“I think we have seen the royals take a leaf out of [Harry’s] book,” she said.

However, the royal expert maintained that the royals will maintain their values and are not going to become “too California.”

“They’re not going to allow that to happen, that’s not them,” she said. “It’s one thing opening up, it’s one thing seeing the King give a big hug to someone rather than just shake their hand.”
