ISLAMABAD: Senate Chairman Yousaf Raza Gilani on Sunday paid tribute to Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto on his birth anniversary, pledging to uphold his mission of public service.
“Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s political philosophy continues to guide us,” said Gilani, who described Bhutto as a visionary leader who remains close to the hearts of the people.
In his message, Gilani emphasized Bhutto’s vision of empowering the masses, hailing him as a champion of democracy who recognized the people as the true source of power. “His pro-worker and pro-poor policies made him the most popular leader of his time,” Gilani remarked.
