LAHORE: Pakistan is set to launch the “Ghar Se Ghar Tak” policy for Hajj 2025, a groundbreaking initiative designed to provide seamless support to pilgrims from departure to return.
The policy focuses on enhancing the overall Hajj experience with comprehensive services, ensuring comfort and efficiency at every step.
Under this initiative, the Ministry of Religious Affairs will appoint 600 official guides, known as nazmeen, to assist pilgrims throughout their journey. Each guide will be responsible for 150 pilgrims, accompanying them from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia and back. The nazmeen will provide critical support, including assistance with travel logistics, accommodation arrangements, and guidance during Hajj rituals.
The ministry emphasized the nazmeen’s pivotal role in ensuring pilgrims can fulfill their religious obligations smoothly. Once the flight schedules for Hajj 2025 are finalized, pilgrims will be notified of their assigned guides.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has also prioritized the preparations for Hajj 2025, issuing strict instructions to avoid any lapses in serving the pilgrims. Chairing a review meeting on Hajj arrangements, the prime minister called for the deployment of highly reputable officers to ensure transparency and efficiency in the process.
During the meeting, the prime minister reiterated that pilgrims are “Allah’s guests” and that their comfort must remain the government’s top priority. He has directed officials to submit a detailed report on the preparations in the coming days, underscoring the importance of flawless execution.
The “Ghar Se Ghar Tak” initiative reflects Pakistan’s commitment to improving the Hajj experience and upholding the sacred duty of serving pilgrims with utmost dedication.
