Every year on January 24, International Education Day is celebrated all over the world. Its importance has increased even more in the era of technology. The purpose of celebrating this day is to highlight the importance of education at the global level.

On 3 December 2018, January 24 was declared International Education Day through a resolution passed by the United Nations General Assembly. In light of the resolution, the first International Education Day was celebrated on 24 January 2019 for the first time, with the aim of highlighting the importance of education for peace and development at the global level.

The purpose of celebrating International Education Day is to provide equal and quality education to all people of every country and race and to spread awareness about education. Education is a fundamental human right under Section 26 of the United Nations International Charter on Human Rights. According to the International Charter, it is the duty of the state to provide free and compulsory primary education to the public. Under Article 25-A of the Constitution of Pakistan, basic education is a fundamental right of every human being, under which the state shall provide free education to children from 5 to 16 years.

In the present era, innovation is taking place in every field. Due to technology, revolutionary changes are taking place on a daily basis around the world. Information technology has further promoted globalization. The acquisition of education is no longer limited to traditional methods. The means of acquiring knowledge have not only increased, but also access to them has become very easy.

Due to AI, changes are taking place in the world. Be it developed or developing countries, a discussion has started regarding the use of artificial intelligence in the field of education. Due to the Internet, information about everything is just a click away. Ideas about competition around the world are starting to shift to the development in the use of artificial intelligence. In the education sector, such digital programmws can be developed based on artificial intelligence, through which not only the academic ability and capability of the student can be improved, but his skills can be improved at a practical level also. With the use of AI, students can easily achieve their educational goals according to modern requirements.

With the help of artificial intelligence, educational curriculum can be tailored to the needs of students, current challenges, their interests and future requirements. This can help students learn more effectively. In our country, where the trend towards technical education has decreased in the current century.

We will have to take steps to get out of the traditional method of education. In order to keep pace with the world, we will have to develop the education system on modern lines. In the era of rapid development, due to artificial intelligence, we can focus on developing the mental abilities of our students. This can ensure the integrated study of several subjects. Programs in this regard have been started in our universities, but their scope needs to be further expanded.

Technical education has gained great importance in the current era. The wheel of development is connected to it. The biggest problem of the current era is unemployment. Technical education can be helpful in eliminating unemployment. In this regard, the use of artificial intelligence can be effective. With the use of artificial intelligence, students can learn new skills that will be very important and useful for getting jobs in the future. The trend of online earning is increasing. Today’s students can create new products with the help of artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence is opening new doors for development all over the world. In fact, no country can develop without scientific and technical education.

Unfortunately, education has become a profession, not a department. The civilization and development of any society can be judged by its education system. Education plays a role of a ladder in social development.

The abundance of tuition centres has badly affected the mental peace of the younger generation. Children go for formal education in public educational institutions in the morning, but in the evening they have to go to tuition centres. Depression is spreading among children due to tuition culture. Number games have destroyed the mental peace of children.

Due to this routine, creative activities are decreasing. They do not have time for physical activities, which is harming their health. On the other hand, the constructive role of teachers is also decreasing. In the era of materialism, tuition culture is growing. In societies where education becomes an earning profession, creative abilities are buried, and this gives rise to materialism.

In these societies, the teaching of ethics is reduced to the essence and interests of man. Both teachers and students can benefit from the use of AI. Due to AI, more results can be achieved in less time. With the use of AI, not only the sources of income can be increased, but students can get the best education with less money also. After the covid-19 pandemic, the concept of online learning has gained more importance. This can not only save time, but also provide an environment for students to engage themselves in physical and creative activities.
