Lindsay Lohan Shares First Photos of Son Luai in Heartwarming Zoo Visit

Lindsay Lohan is giving fans a rare look into her life as a mom, sharing the first photos of her son, Luai Shammas, during a family trip to the zoo.

On Friday, Jan. 31, the Mean Girls actress, 38, posted a carousel of images on Instagram capturing precious moments from their outing. The cover photo featured Lohan’s husband, Bader Shammas, holding Luai as they admired an outdoor animal enclosure. Additional pictures showed a lion basking in the sun and Luai reaching out to a large snake through the glass barrier.

But the zoo wasn’t the only highlight of her post, captioned simply with a “🫶” emoji. Lohan also included a smiling selfie with Shammas, behind-the-scenes snaps from a photo shoot, and tender moments of her holding Luai’s hand.

Lohan and Shammas, both 38, welcomed Luai in September 2023, months after announcing their pregnancy in March. Since then, the actress has fully embraced motherhood, frequently sharing her joy in raising her son.

In a recent interview for Alexa Holiday Fashion 2024 with The New York Post, Lohan reflected on how Christmas has taken on new meaning with Luai. “For my son, I want to do fun ones. If he sees dinosaur wrapping paper, he gets excited,” she said, adding that she loves decorating the tree and capturing every moment.

Speaking on Today in November 2024, Lohan revealed a sweet parenting tradition she started after Luai’s birth. “Since my son was born, I take a picture of him every single morning the second he wakes up. And I can’t miss it, so I need to be on his schedule.” While she hasn’t decided what to do with all the photos, Shammas has already joked that she’ll need to keep up the tradition with any future children.

With motherhood at the center of her world, Lohan continues to balance family life with her career, ensuring that everything she does aligns with her growing family.
