The Gone Girl actor, 52, was seen wrapping his arms around Garner’s waist as she focused on her paintball gun at Combat Paintball Park in Castaic, Calif., on Sunday. Garner, also 52, appeared comfortable in the embrace, signaling the close relationship the exes have maintained.

Throughout the outing, the former couple stuck close to each other, laughing and chatting as they navigated the field. While their son, Samuel, 13, joined his friends for the activity, Affleck and Garner were seen in deep conversation, with the Oscar winner flashing a wide smile and even bursting into laughter at one point.
It remains unclear whether their two older children, Violet, 19, and Seraphina, 16, were also present.
The affectionate display comes just weeks after Affleck finalized his divorce from Jennifer Lopez, prompting speculation about the deepening connection between him and Garner.
