ISLAMABAD: Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) Admiral Naveed Ashraf visited forward posts in the Coastal and Creeks Areas, as well as various Pakistan Navy ships, to meet officers and sailors on duty during Eid-ul-Fitr.
During his visit, Admiral Ashraf extended Eid greetings to deployed personnel and lauded their unwavering commitment to duty, emphasizing that safeguarding national interests remains paramount even during festive occasions. According to a statement issued by the Directorate General Public Relations (Pakistan Navy), he commended the sacrifices of naval personnel in maintaining vigilance and operational readiness.
The Naval Chief reaffirmed the Pakistan Navy’s unwavering commitment to defending the country’s maritime borders while also underscoring its crucial role in ensuring regional stability. He encouraged officers and sailors to continue their mission with professionalism and resolve, acknowledging their vital contributions to national security.
While interacting with personnel stationed at forward posts, Admiral Ashraf praised their dedication and high morale in defending this vital frontier, which comprises challenging marshlands, swamps, and unpredictable waterways.
The CNS expressed complete satisfaction with the operational preparedness of Pak Marines in the Creeks Area, highlighting their role in safeguarding the country’s coastal frontiers.
