MUZAFFARABAD: In a powerful display of support, a rally was held in Muzaffarabad to express solidarity with the oppressed people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and Palestine.
Organized by the International Forum for Justice and Human Rights and the Central Seerat Committee, the rally began at Eidgah and culminated at Upper Adda, drawing a significant number of civil society activists, Seerat Committee representatives, and concerned citizens.
Addressing the gathering, Mushtaq-ul-Islam, Vice Chairman of the International Forum for Justice and Human Rights, denounced the decades-long persecution of Kashmiris and Palestinians. He called upon the international community to abandon its silence and take decisive steps to uphold their fundamental rights.
“The sacrifices of the people of Kashmir and Palestine will not go in vain. Their struggle for freedom and self-determination will continue until justice prevails,” Mushtaq-ul-Islam asserted.
Participants passionately raised slogans in support of Kashmir and Palestine, urging global powers to intervene and put an end to the ongoing oppression in both regions. The demonstrators emphasized that international human rights organizations must fulfill their responsibilities and prevent further atrocities against innocent civilians.
The rally reflected growing concerns over the humanitarian crises in both territories, with attendees vowing to continue advocating for the rights of Kashmiris and Palestinians on every available platform.
