Prince Harry is reportedly “not overly happy” with his wife, Meghan Markle, showcasing their children, Archie and Lilibet, to promote her lifestyle brand, As Ever. Royal editor Matt Wilkinson shared on A Right Royal Podcast that the couple has differing views on sharing photos of their kids on social media.
Wilkinson explained that Harry prefers to keep his children out of the spotlight. “He doesn’t want them to be photographed,” he said. “He believes that if they leave Montecito, the media will chase them to capture photos.”

On the other hand, Meghan, who grew up in California, has a more relaxed view. She has expressed her desire for a California-style lifestyle, which includes taking her children to the beach and engaging in activities without hiding them away.
Meghan has recently shared several glimpses of the kids while promoting As Ever, including a video of them baking for Valentine’s Day and a photo of Lilibet with Harry on a boat. Despite these public moments, their faces are not fully visible in most images, and the children were not featured in Meghan’s Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, which premiered in March.
Wilkinson noted that while Meghan doesn’t show her children’s faces, she still uses their presence to promote her image as a mother and homemaker. He suggested that Harry might not be entirely comfortable with this approach. Representatives for Harry and Meghan did not respond to requests for comment.
