KARACHI: President Asif Ali Zardari has tested negative for COVID-19, according to his physician, Dr. Asim Hussain. While the president has shown signs of improvement, he remains under the care of infectious disease specialists and is expected to stay in the hospital for a few more days.
Dr. Asim explained that physiotherapy is part of President Zardari’s recovery process, and though he tested negative on a rapid COVID-19 test, the president’s health is still being closely monitored. Currently, doctors have not allowed any visitors during his hospitalization.
President Zardari, who tested positive for COVID-19 on April 2, has been in isolation since then, receiving continuous medical care.
