Kate Middleton And Prince William Reveal Plans For 14th Wedding Anniversary

Kate Middleton and Prince William are set to mark their 14th wedding anniversary in a meaningful way by returning to Scotland, the place where their love story began. On April 29, the couple will travel to the Isle of Mull for two days of visits to celebrate rural communities and promote local craftsmanship and farming.

The Duke and Duchess of Rothesay, as they are known in Scotland, first met at the University of St. Andrews in 2005 while studying Art History. Their relationship blossomed during their time at university, where they spent years together before marrying at Westminster Abbey in 2011.

Their anniversary visit will begin in the town of Tobermory on the Isle of Mull, where they will tour a community hub and visit a local market, sampling food and meeting craftspeople. Their trip highlights their ongoing commitment to supporting rural communities, and they will also announce a new partnership between their Royal Foundation and the local area to support community spaces on the island.

On the second day of their visit, William and Kate will visit a local croft to learn about sustainable farming practices and local hospitality. They will also engage with the Mull and Iona Ranger Service, where they will join local schoolchildren for an outdoor learning session in the ancient Atlantic rainforest—one of Scotland’s most treasured habitats.

Additionally, the couple will participate in an early-years outdoor learning activity with Ardura Acorns, an initiative aligned with Princess Kate’s focus on helping families and young children.

This visit is the couple’s first public engagement since the Easter holiday, which they spent with their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. The family recently enjoyed a skiing trip in the Alps and time at their Norfolk residence, Anmer Hall.
