Rs1m prize up for grabs at maiden Morgan Reach Junior Squash C’ship

LAHORE: The maiden Morgan Reach National Junior Open Squash Championship will kick off on Thursday (tomorrow) at Davis Road Squash Complex.

As many 200 players from across the country will unleash their talent during the championship being held under the banner of the Punjab Squash Association (PSA).

The announcement was made during a press conference by Morgan Reach CEO Dr. Kamran and Punjab Squash Association Vice President Muhammad Mansoor. Tournament Director Mamoon Khan and senior PSA officials were also present at the occasion.

“We are committed to the development of Pakistani squash and will continue to organise such events in the future,” said Dr. Kamran and added: “It is an honour to work alongside the Punjab Squash Association for the betterment of squash in Pakistan. For the first time, entries have also been received from Balochistan.”

Mansoor further shared that a prize purse of Rs1 million will be awarded to the winners. The event will feature competitions in the Under-17, Under-15, and Under-13 categories.
