Rs32.25bn approved for 29 development schemes in KP

PESHAWAR: The Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP)-KP on Wednesday approved 29 schemes worth Rs32.25 billion.

The 12th meeting of PDWP was held under the chairmanship of Shakeel Qadir Khan, Additional Chief Secretary P&D Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, via video link. The meeting was also attended by PDWP members and officials of the concerned departments.

As per details, the PDWP on the occasion deliberated upon 33 uplift schemes pertaining to health, higher education, water, infrastructure, relief & rehabilitation, elementary & secondary education, roads and social welfare sectors. Of the total, 29 development schemes were approved, while four were deferred due to inadequate designs and were returned to the respective department for rectification.
