Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan has thanked the people of Karachi for tolerating security obstruction while the Men in Green were facing West Indies at the National Stadium earlier this week.
Karachiites majorly suffer when a Pakistan Super League (PSL) or international match is played due to excessive security around the stadium while fans have to wait in a long queue and go through many security checks to watch their stars play.
The 29-year-old said that the day is very near when these matches will take place without any hurdles.
“I would like to thank the people of Karachi for being patient while the matches were played,” Rizwan tweeted
“In sha Allah, we will witness a day soon when there will be no security blockage at all. That day is not far away,” he added.
It must be noted that Pakistan whitewashed West Indies in the three-match T20I series. Mohammad Rizwan was awarded Player of the Series.
The ODI series was postponed after more Covid-19 cases emerged in the West Indies camp. The series have been moved to June 2020.
