SRINAGAR: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir,
posters appeared on Sunday in across Srinagar and other areas of the territory appealing the people to observe the Indian Republic Day, the January 26, as Black Day.
According to Kashmir Media Service, India celebrates Republic Day to mark the date when the Indian Constitution came into effect in 1950, which was to make the country a secular state.
The posters, displayed by Jammu and Kashmir Sada-e-Mazloom, were pasted on walls, pillars and electricity poles in Srinagar and other areas of the territory, urging the people to observe the Indian Republic Day as Black Day.
The poster said if India believed in democracy, it would have not denied the Kashmiris their right to self-determination, it would not killing innocent people in IIOJK and would not take steps for changing the demography of the territory.
