Malnutrition

Malnutrition simply means a lack of proper nutrition. The ratio of child malnutrition is increased in Pakistan as compared to the other developed countries. Due to the scarcity of available food and fresh fruits, a number of children are suffering in deep trouble, almost 40.2pc children are suffering and 17.7pc are wasted for deficiency of iron.

However, poverty is one of the major causes of malnutrition in developing countries. Most people living in poverty lack access to fresh fruits and vegetables. For one kg oranges cost more than 200 before it was for 80 or 100, others are in the same condition as well.

As a result, people cannot afford to buy delicious food for eating and survive a prosperous life. Thus, it is time for the government to help them well so that the people must not be in hot water.
