Afghanistan’s Naveen-ul-Haq trains at Shaheen Afridi’s gym in Peshawar

Afghanistan’s medium pacer Naveen-ul-Haq is currently in Peshawar where he was seen training at the gym of Pakistan spearhead pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi.

The ICC Men’s Cricketer of the Year for 2021 owns a gym in Peshawar named ‘Shaheen Run 4 Life ‘ where he and other Pakistan cricketers usually train during the off-season.

In a Twitter post shared by the ex-media manager of the Afghanistan cricket team, M. Ibrahim Momand, Naveen can be seen working hard on his bowling action.

It must be noted that Naveen was dropped from Afghanistan’s side after he opted to focus on the T20 format and prepare for the upcoming World Cup in Australia rather than playing in the ODIs against the Netherlands in Qatar.

Since making his debut in 2016, Naveen has played seven ODIs and 13 T20Is.
