Brig Nasrullah returns from US Open Golf

MAILSI: Former Mailsi Station Commander and Rawalpindi Golf Club Senior Golfer Brigadier Nasrullah Khan Warraich attended US Open, the World’s Largest Golf Tournament 2022.

A total of 156 selected golfers from around the world competed in this international tournament, which held from June 16 to 19. Matthew Fitzpatrick, 27, of England won the tournament in the first position. Brigadier Nasrullah Khan was awarded the 122nd US Open Golf Shield by the US Golf Association. Though Brig Nasrullah did not make a place in the first ten players, he brought a laurel to the country by participating in such a big international tournament. His participation will go a long way in the promotion of golf and motivation of youngsters to opt for golf in Pakistan. During the tournament, Brig Nasrullah met with the world’s top golfers and exchanged views with them on promotion of golf in Pakistan.
