PTI Chairman Imran Khan to address a grand rally in Muzaffarabad on Sept 29

Muzaffarabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Azad Kashmir chapter has decided to hold a historic gathering at Muzaffarabad on September 29, 2022 which would be addressed by the PTI chairman Imran Khan, as the chief guest.

 The decision to this effect was taken during the party’s parliamentary party meeting, which was chaired by the AJK premier Sardar Tanvir Ilyas Khan here on Friday. Government Ministers including Khawaja Farooq Ahmed, Sardar Mir Akbar Khan, Chaudhry Muhammad Rashid, Abdul Majid Khan, Dr. Nisar Ansar Abdali, Diwan Ali Khan Chaghtai, Sardar Fahim Akhtar Rabbani, Chaudhry Arshad Hussain, Chaudhry Muhammad Akmal Sargala, Chaudhry Yasir Sultan, Chaudhry Maqbool Gujjar, Azhar Sadiq, Chaudhry Muhammad Akbar Ibrahim, Special Assistants Chaudhry Muhammad Faiq Nair and Chaudhry Muhammad Iqbal, Advisor to the Government Hafiz Hamid Raza, Parliamentary Secretary Imtiaz Naseem and others were present on the occasion.

During the meeting the parliamentary party decided to participate in the local body elections with full strength. On the proposal of the Prime Minister, the meeting also decided to provide tax exemptions to investors for the promotion of industry in Azad Kashmir.

 A committee under the chairmanship of Finance Minister Abdul Majid Khan has been constituted to determine the tax exemptions. The committee has been tasked to submit the report to the Prime Minister within 15 days.

Speaking on the occasion, the PM said that on September 29, people of Azad Kashmir would accord a historic welcome to their beloved Quaid Imran Khan.

Imran Khan, he said not only presented the Kashmiris’ case vociferously at international level but also provided plenty of funds for the development and prosperity of Azad Kashmir in difficult financial conditions.

The PTI government, he said would fulfill the promises it had made with the people. The government is committed transfer the power to the lower level by conducting local government elections in line with the vision of the party chairman Imran Khan.

He said that the PTI would achieve a landslide victory in the municipal elections as well as the next general elections. The Prime Minister said that measures were being taken to promote investment in Azad Kashmir and create a favourable environment for investors.
