ISLAMABAD: It is high time for the United Nations (UN) to show that it is not a toothless organization and come to the Kashmiris’ rescue in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Now is the time for the UN to act and save the people of Kashmir from the onslaught of the Modi-led fascist Indian government and implement its resolutions on Kashmir, said a report released by the KMS, today.
It said more inaction on the part of the UN will further embolden India to repress the IIOJK people, adding that it must stop remaining a silent spectator on what is happening in occupied Kashmir.
The report said how many more decades of Indian repression of Kashmiris will it take for the UN to wake up from its slumber? Resolution of the Kashmir dispute lies only in relevant UN resolutions, it maintained.
It said it is time for the Word Body to expose the so-called democratic India’s ugly face before the world as fascist Modi is attempting to obliterate the distinct Kashmiri identity by altering IIOJK’s demography Peace will continue to elude South Asia until the lingering Kashmir dispute is resolved on the basis of UN resolutions and the world community must prosecute the Modi regime and its military for their crimes against humanity in IIOJK, the report stated.
