Jammu: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, police arrested five Kashmiri youth under draconian Public Safety Act in Ramban district on Thursday, today.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the detained youth were identified as
Nazir Ahmad Pala, Mohammad Usman Banli, Firdious Ahmad Khan, Abdul Hamid
Khan and Anyatullah Wani.
Superintendent of Indian Police Mohita Sharma confirmed the detention of the
youth under the stereotyped charge of ‘overground workers’.
The relatives of the youth have expressed fear that like the Shopian youth,
Imran Bashir, these five youth could also be eliminated by Indian forces in
custody.
Imran Bashir was arrested by the troops during a cordon and search operation
on Tuesday and was taken to Nowgam area of the district and in a fake
encounter.
