Saud climbs in Test rankings after impressive show against England

Pakistan batter Saud Shakeel has moved to 61st place in the Test batters rankings after the latest update by the International Cricket Council (ICC).

The 27-year-old jumped 32 places after impressive performances against England in the ongoing Test series. He made three consecutive fifties in Test cricket.

He fell six runs short of scoring his maiden Test century after third umpire Joel Wilson gave a controversial catch dismissal.

On the other hand, Pakistan skipper Babar Azam retained third spot while and Abdullah Shafique dropped three spots to 18. Wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan has also lost four places and now sits at the 21st position.

Shaheen Afridi, who is currently in fifth place, is the only Pakistan bowler in the top 10 positions of the Test rankings.
