Low danger level’ avalanche warning for four IIOJK districts issued

SRINAGAR: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu Kashmir Disaster Management Authority (JKDMA) has issued an avalanche warning for four districts of Kashmir division in the upcoming 24 hours.

The Authority issued a warning above 2500 meters over Ganderbal, Bandipora, Baramulla, and Kupwara districts.

People living in the specified areas have been advised to take precautions and avoid venturing into the avalanche prone areas till further directions.

Protest against IIOJK authorities’ anti-people policies

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) activists led by former minister Harsh Dev Singh held a protest at Choka Nala on Mantalai road against the anti-people policies of the BJP’s puppet regime
The protesters raised slogans against the Public Health Engineering (PHE) Department for depriving them of drinking water in the rural belt. He also cautioned the authorities to refrain from evicting the poor and landless farmers from their marginal land holdings which were their only source of survival and livelihood.

The protest was joined by hundreds of women, children, old and young from village Kossar, Choka Nala, Banek and adjacent localities which resulted in disruption of vehicular traffic.
