COMSATS organized event joined by all its officials to celebrate the International Women’s Day. The theme this year was “DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality,” aligned with the priority theme of the upcoming 67th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW-67).
The Executive Director, Amb Dr. Mohammed NafeesZakaria, in his message underlined the importance of women in the nation building, society and other segments of life. He recalled founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s words that the power represented by women is stronger than the powers represented by the Pen and Sword. He acknowledged the efforts of female officials working at COMSATS.
The event was marked by cutting a cake. The representative women also shared their views on the occasion.The Executive Director encouraged them to share their ideas aimed at improving COMSATS working environment and growth.
The event served as an occasion to encourage and acknowledge the efforts of female employees in advancing sustainable development and promoting gender equality. Through innovation and technological advancements, women are playing a pivotal role in creating a more inclusive and prosperous future for all. COMSATS reaffirms its commitment towards empowering women and creating a conducive work environment for utilizing their talent and development of the organization.
