KP releases Rs730.70m for salaries of 62 TMAs employees

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Department has released Rs730.70 million to crisis-hit 62 Tehsil Municipal Administrations (TMAs) of the province.

The department stated that the fund will be used to pay salaries and pensions to employees ahead of Eidul Fitr. The TMAs have sought the Provincial Finance Department’s support as the employees of these TMAs were deprived of salaries and pensions for several months.

The Finance Department has now issued the grant to 62 TMAs and the employees will soon receive their salaries. The authorities said that the provincial government has released the funds as an additional grant while approved funds will also be released soon.
