Insulin shortage

There is an acute shortage of life-saving insulin Novomix, which, as is common knowledge, is required by diabetic patients on a regular and sustained basis, as it needs to be administered daily. The government and its regulatory bodies seem to be unaware of this basic fact because nothing else can rationalise their failure to ensure uninterrupted supply of such a critical medicine. Instead of passing the buck around playing some kind of weird blame-game, the relevant authorities should get their facts right and address the issue on a priority basis.
