Nawaz’s Oct 21 address to set direction for Pakistan: Shehbaz

LAHORE: PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif said the address to be delivered by former prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Oct 21 would set the direction for Pakistan and they were going to make every effort for fixing the state of affairs under his leadership.

In a message to the party workers on Monday, Shehbaz said the PML-N supremo’s return was set to prove a milestone towards achieving unity and economic progress in the country as he would lead the election campaign across the country.

In this context, he added that the multiple regional and world crises demanded harmony and economic strength to guarantee Pakistan’s success. The PML-N president praised the party workers for finalising preparations to welcome the elder Sharif, saying the commitment shown by men, women and youth to the PML-N was exemplary.

Nawaz had always played a historic role in rescuing the country from different crises and fulfilling the aspirations of masses, Shehbaz said, adding that he would repeat the same yet again to save the people from the current mess. Addressing the party workers, he advised them to act with traditional spirit during the final defining phase and said their success was that of Pakistan as well.
