ECP’s deadline for vote registration, transfer extended till Oct 28

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) deadline for registration of vote, its transfer and data correction has been extended till October 28.

Chaired by Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja, a meeting of the election commission held in Islamabad on Tuesday took the decision to this effect for the convenience of the general public.

It should be mentioned here that the ECP had earlier fixed 25th October as the last date for registration of vote, its transfer and correction of data in the electoral rolls.

The election commission has appealed the public to take advantage of this extension in deadline.

Form 21 is available on the election commission website www.ecp.gov.pk which can be downloaded for vote registration and transfer.

This form needs to be submitted with District Election Commission office after filling it out.

All Pakistanis aged eighteen years and above, including women, youth, minority communities, persons with disabilities, transgender community and all disadvantaged sections of the society, can send their identity card number on 8300 to check the information regarding their vote.
