IPP to hold political rallies in nine districts

KHANEWAL: The Istehkam-e- Pakistan Party (IPP) will begin its political rallies from Khanewal on Saturday in a show of political power. The venue for the rally is being prepared at Jahanian Stadium.

The IPP has released a schedule of meetings from October 28 to December 9, according to which rallies will be held in 9 districts in the first phase as on Khanewal – October 28, Hafizabad – November 3, Narowal – November 9, Leh – November 12, Kasur – November 17, Gujranwala – November 20, Kojhang – November 24, Sahiwal – December 2, Faisalabad – December 9

Patron Chief Jahangir Khan Tareen and Party President Abdul Aleem Khan will address the rallies.

The IPP is a relatively new political party, but it has quickly become a major player in Pakistani politics.

It is reportedly said, the party is seen as being close to the country establishment and it is expected to challenge the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party in the next general election.
