Former PTI MNA Tashfeen Safdar quits party

GUJRAT: Former Member National Assembly from Gujrat belonging to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PT) Tashfeen Safdar has announced to quit the party. In the same breath, Tashfeen Safdar also announced joining Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q).

Three leaders of PTI from Gujrat had already parted ways with the party in recent days. Former MNA Syed Faiz Ul Hasan Shah had recently also announced parting ways with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. He was elected from NA-74 on the ticket of PTI in the 2018 polls.

In a press conference held in Gujrat on Tuesday last, Shah along with the former member of provincial assembly Chaudhry Arshad denounced the events of May 9 and announced to quit PTI.
