MIRAN SHAH: In a devastating incident in North Waziristan, three children lost their lives in an explosion that occurred in the fields near the Kajuri check post in Mir Ali during the afternoon hours.
The blast took place in a field near the Honeymoon Hotel. The victims, aged between five and fifteen years, hailed from Khajuri Zakir Khel village and were working as shepherds. The police promptly responded to the situation, confirming the tragic demise of the three children.
Law enforcement authorities have transported the bodies to the headquarters hospital in Mir Ali. The ongoing investigation aims to ascertain the exact nature of the explosion, with initial suspicions pointing towards a potential landmine detonation.
