The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) is generally quite regular in sending monthly bills, but, recently, I received the bill with a gap of two months. When I tried to pay the bill, at least three banks refused to accept the payment, citing ‘some’ issues with the company. I called the SSGC helpline, but it was of no help as they had no clue about anything I told them. Instead, I was advised to pay the bill through Post Office or other private agencies since the due date of payment was approaching. The SSGC should have informed the customers through newspapers about whatever the problem was, as well as about the alternative methods of payment while apologising for the inconvenience they have faced.
