Inadequate facilities

I recently visited the Sindh Government Hospital in Malir’s Khokhrapar area, and had a discussion with the administration about the lack of healthcare facilities there. I was told that about 71 positions were lying vacant, and many of the doctors were considering leaving the hospital due to inadequate facilities. The most significant challenge is the consistent eight-hour electricity load- shedding every day by K-Electric (KE). Despite complaints to the higher authorities, there has been no resolution to the matter, leading to a decline in the hospital’s performance. Urgent intervention by the Sindh government is needed to address these pressing issues.
