JI writes to Sindh election commission about pre-poll rigging

ISLAMABAD: The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has written a letter to the Sindh Election Commission complaining about pre-poll ringing.

Jamaat-e-Islami wrote to the commission alleging the sacks containing the boxes of ballot papers were torn off.

“Ten boxes of ballot papers vanished,” the JI said in the letter, adding this happened in the polling station of NA -238 and PS 102 and presiding officers concerned were too informed.

The JI urged the election commission to take action and address the issue.
