WATCH: Naseem Shah, Babar Azam, others singing Junaid Jamshed’s Naat while on Umrah

Cricket stars Babar Azam, Naseem Shah, Imam ul Haq and Iftikhar Ahmed areĀ  currently on Umrah during the Holy month of Ramzan.

A video from their trip emerged on social media yesterday where all four are sat in a coaster van on a highway, among other friends and family, where Naseem Shah is holding a mic with Imam ul Haq besides him, singing the famous Naat ‘Mera Dil Badal De’ by the late singing icon Junaid Jamshed.

Babar Azam and Iftikhar Ahmed can also be seen singing along with their teammates.

This isn’t the first time Naseem Shah has picked up the mic. He can be seen in this older video attempting to cover ‘Kali Kali Zulfon’ by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.

It seems the song by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is quite famous among the Pakistan cricket team as Imam ul Haq has also attempted to sing it, at his wedding no less, with Khan performing the song live at the event on stage.Ā

Imam’s video:

The Naat by Junaid Jamshed, who sadly passed away in a plane crash in 2016, is from the latter part of his illustrious singing career. His rise to fame was a pop singer in the band Vital Signs that is widely considered to be one of the best bands Pakistan has ever produced.
