St Anthony’s prepares to display Pakistan’s vibrant colors on Cultural Day

LAHORE: The St Anthony’s High School has announced to organize the Pakistan Cultural Day 2024 on April 19 which was going to be a blend of competitive enthusiasm and impressive learning and educational skills at the main auditorium of the school.

Presence of the Principal Mr. Maxwell Shanti’s besides other distinguished chief guest and guest of honor, will add a distinguished touch, highlighting the significance of the festival as a notable gathering of individuals dedicated to the spirit of sportsmanship and cultural exchange.

In a statement issued here, Mr. Maxwell Shanti, who has given the school a new look with his hard work and outstanding performance, said that the school’s students will display the vibrant colors and diverse culture of their country through stunning performances of folk songs and delivering speeches on this important matter.

The Principal, who was running simultaneously the main campus on Lawrence Road as well as the Faisal Town branch of St. Anthony’s School, added that the attired in colorful costumes of their respective provinces, the young and talented students will mesmerize the audience with their performances of traditional and folk songs. The students will also set up a stall, displaying various traditional items, and offering food.

Mr. Shanti observed that the Cultural Festival embodies St. Anthony’s commitment to deliver an unforgettable and captivating experience, combining the thrill of competition with the richness of cultural diversity.

While sharing his thoughts, he shared the significance of distinct values of acceptance, peace, tolerance and respect in Pakistani culture and the way they have evolved over a period of time. He mentioned that the recognition of diversity on economic, political and social basis is very important for the inclusion of different genders, cultures and ethnicities at institutions as well as at family level for the progress of overall nation and the country.

With this, the Principal shared the relevance of culture of an institution and organization with the performance of people. He gave an important message to the students to develop conducive environment around them and to integrate diversity and acceptance for better outcomes in student life, real world organizations and personal arenas while respecting the Pakistan’s cultural values.

He said that at St. Anthony’s School, our mission extends far beyond the mere acquisition of academic degrees. We aspire to mold our students into responsible individuals who embrace the rich tapestry of diversity in our world. We instill in them a strong commitment to the values of discipline, justice, and respect, ensuring that as they graduate from our institution, they carry with them a profound sense of duty towards society.

Certificates would also be distributed among the organizers and the participants.
